10-weekend accredited diploma course
The Professional Practitioner Hypnotherapy Training Course is a hybrid training which can be attended either online or in person in the classroom. This course surpasses the National Occupation Standards for Hypnotherapy training. It was devised and written by the principal of the Essex Institute, Terence Watts, and adapted for hybrid training by June Hale of EICH Norfolk. It is based on many thousands of hours of successful work with hypnosis, hypnotherapy and hypnoanalysis, and hundreds of hours of online training.
Hybrid training is an educational approach where some people attend in person and some participate online. The trainer teaches the course to remote and in-person attendees at the same time using video conferencing technology.
Our online training carries the same accreditation as the classroom training.
Become a knowledgeable professional
The course is constantly updated to keep abreast of the latest developments in the world of professional hypnosis and hypnotherapy. Our own experienced trainer June Hale conducts most of the training personally.
The training programme was professionally designed and written in a specific manner to give you a thorough and sound knowledge of the application of ethical clinical hypnosis and hypnotherapy, even if you have no previous experience of the field – and you don’t need any previous qualifications, either. Our training teaches you all you need to know and the professional hypnotherapy qualifications you will receive qualify you to obtain full professional liability insurance.
You don’t have to wait until the end of the course to see some results from your studies, though, because you will receive your Primary Certification after successfully completing your mid-course assessment, allowing you to work professionally with many presenting issues.
The course contains a wealth of analytical and common-sense information that will allow you to work with almost any psychological problem with which you are likely to be presented – if it can be fixed with hypnotherapy, you will be able to fix it.
Over the ten study months of the course you will become a knowledgeable professional hypnotherapist and hypnoanalyst, able to help many people to discover a better life for themselves – when it comes to job satisfaction and reward, hypnotherapy comes right at the top of the list.
The hybrid format of our training means that all students will also learn how to conduct hypnotherapy online with clients, with the confidence that will come from practising the techniques online with supervision by the course tutors.

These four days will give you invaluable extra insights into the human mind, provide you with professional work methodologies, and teach you skills to help you set up your own practice, all of which you would normally have to pay extra to learn.

All Professional training costs money, of course, but our fee structure is such that not only can you pay by monthly instalments if you wish, you can withdraw from the course without penalty at any time, provided you give us 28 days notice. We are able offer this facility because we are confident that, like the rest of our students, you will want to complete the entire programme.

The tuition programme is conducted in a modular fashion and covers literally all that you need to know in order to start finding success just as soon as you are qualified. Accreditation and Qualifications
Students who successfully pass the exams and assessments will receive a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy with Psychotherapy, and therefore can use the letters DHP in relation to all professional endeavours.

The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy
Our Professional Practitioner Course is accredited by the Association of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. This means that successful graduates will be eligible to apply for membership of the APHP at Licentiate level.
The General Hypnotherapy Register
(GHR)
The Professional Practitioner Course offered by EICH Norfolk has been Assessed and Accredited by The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (UK). Successful graduates are eligible for registration within The General Hypnotherapy Register (the GHSC’s Registering Agency) at Practitioner Status.
The National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors
Successful graduates of the EICH Norfolk Professional Practitioner course will be eligible to apply for membership of the National Register of Psychotherapists and Counsellors at Affiliate level.
All students successfully passing the final examination are eligible for membership of these respected bodies. On joining either the APHP or the GHR, classroom attendees will also be eligible to register with The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)*. This registration is only available if your school teaches the recognised Core Curriculum created in 2011 for Hypnotherapy training (which we do at EICH Norfolk).
